Gomoku history

Gomoku means "five stones" in Japanese and is a race played on the Go board, arranging five stones side by side. Its rules are as simple as XOX, but its strategy is much deeper.

The high-level tournament version of the game, "Renju", includes additional rules to reduce the first-player advantage. The Oyun Treni version is played with free Gomoku rules that anyone can easily learn.
